As a Cart Attendant at Meijer, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized shopping environment. Your primary responsibilities will include collecting and sanitizing shopping carts, returning merchandise to the shelves, and performing light janitorial duties both inside and outside the store. Additionally, you will be responsible for safely using snow removal equipment during winter months to keep the store entrance clear and safe for customers. Your duties will also include handling perishable and salvage returns, as well as basic cleaning of the store and restroom facilities. Collaboration with various departments such as Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral will be essential to ensure that the store operates smoothly. This position offers flexible scheduling options, with shifts available Monday through Friday from 7 am to 4 pm, allowing you to balance work with personal commitments. No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
