About The Position

Carrier Operations Oversee the department’s daily operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely movement of inbound and outbound vehicles between port, storage facilities, and dealerships. Work with dealerships to establish delivery schedule and ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time. Provide support as needed by operating car carrier if CDL license is current. Support operational needs by working Saturdays and after hours if needed. Assist with preparing the department’s long and short-range goals. Assist with forecasting long-range improvements for Carrier Services operations, including equipment, labor, and process improvements. Safety and Compliance Maintain accurate and updated records related to Safety, Hazmat, Environmental, and DOT CDL requirements. Maintain fleet to ensure carriers are in safe operational conditions and working with vendors to ensure safety of equipment. Maintain truck and trailer registrations and safety checks. Ensure delivery route is clear, and there are no obstacles of low hanging trees. Report trees that need to be maintained to proper authorities. Leadership and Training Conduct daily and safety operational meetings. Establish productivity standards and performance goals for employees. Communicate Servco policies and government regulations to staff and ensure understanding and compliance. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school graduate or equivalent Work Experience: One year of experience in carrier services, transportation, logistics, fleet operations, or related Supervisory experience overseeing CDL drivers and/or prepping business plans, budgets, and developing policies and procedures preferred Skills: Trucking industry knowledge Basic automotive knowledge Knowledgeable of Dept. of Transportation laws and policies as it relates to CDL A drivers and vehicles Knowledgeable of Hazmat laws Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel Good driving record Ability to work Saturdays and after hours if needed Competencies: Leadership Problem Solving Strategic Planner Detail Oriented Safety Conscious Customer Focused Licenses and Certifications: Valid Type 3 Hawaii Driver’s License Valid CDL A License preferred Hazmat Certification preferred Must be able to obtain TWIC Certification Pay Range: $70,800.00 - $107,680.00 per year At Servco, service is at the heart of what we do. Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent
One year of experience in carrier services, transportation, logistics, fleet operations, or related
Trucking industry knowledge
Basic automotive knowledge
Knowledgeable of Dept. of Transportation laws and policies as it relates to CDL A drivers and vehicles
Knowledgeable of Hazmat laws
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Good driving record
Ability to work Saturdays and after hours if needed
Valid Type 3 Hawaii Driver’s License
Must be able to obtain TWIC Certification

Nice To Haves

Supervisory experience overseeing CDL drivers and/or prepping business plans, budgets, and developing policies and procedures preferred
Valid CDL A License preferred
Hazmat Certification preferred
