Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in carrier sales, logistics, or transportation preferred but not required
  • Strong communicator and confident negotiator
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Self-starter who thrives on solving problems and working as part of a team
  • Comfortable working a Friday through Tuesday schedule with set hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with carrier partners across the country
  • Negotiate rates and secure capacity to ensure on-time, cost-effective freight movement
  • Track and trace shipments, proactively resolving service issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service to our customers
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to efficiently source and book freight, freeing you up to focus on strategy and relationship-building
  • Use technology and industry tools to grow carrier networks and streamline communication
