How you can make a difference: Complete our 10-week paid sales training that won a Brandon Hall Group gold award for excellence in Best Advance in Sales Enablement and Performance Tools. Perform a needs assessment and status evaluation to identify client improvement areas. Create technical and product presentations and network designs. Work with internal teams to develop unique service offerings for standard and nonstandard solutions. Serve as an SME on data services to provide proof of concepts to other teams. Field-based sales roles have fluidity between home, client location and office locations. The expectation is that you are primarily out in front of clients. Develop strategic responses for RFIs and RFPs. Adhere to state, national and company policies to maintain compliance.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of telecommunication networking or systems integrator experience
  • Ten or more years of telecommunications field experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, a related field or equivalent experience
  • MEF-CECP
  • Familiar with data layer two networking communications, IP security strategies, VoIP/ SIP, IP-VPN, DWDM, MPLS, VPLS, metro Ethernet and LAN/WAN integration
  • Knowledge of complex layer two Ethernet networks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Troubleshooting, issue resolution, presentation and English communication skills
  • Ability to network across departments and work with boundary partners
  • Travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities
  • Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Cisco or Juniper certification
  • Knowledge of Cisco, Juniper and Adva network equipment
