We are looking to add a Carrier Procurement Representative who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced global company. As a Carrier Procurement Representative, you will work closely with the operations team, seeking to develop and nurture new relationships through prospecting, lead generation, and cold calling. This is an integral role in the operation of our business with significant room for future growth.

Requirements

• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. We're seeking individuals with 0-1+ years of sales experience or relevant coursework.

Responsibilities

• Be part of our team that has exponentially grown to help further expand the company's carrier network by targeting and developing new enterprise carrier partners through high-volume phone calls, email, and in-person visits then maintaining those relationships with outstanding service
• Negotiate market-driven rates and ensure shipment on time
• Enable our carrier partners and drivers to utilize our cutting-edge online platform to communicate, book, and track loads autonomously
• Support Loadsmart's shippers with customized transportation solutions to support their long-term consistent business
• Relay carrier feedback to our Product and Engineering teams to continuously improve our technology to meet the needs of customers and carrier partners
• Drive efficiencies through the utilization of best-in-class technology tools
