About The Position

As the Carrier Network Manager at Bungii, you will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our national box truck network. This position involves identifying, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with carrier partners to ensure outstanding service delivery. Your strategic approach will enhance the scalability and efficiency of our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and business growth.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience working with different types of carriers and a strong understanding of logistics networks.
  • Proven experience in identifying, negotiating with, and managing third-party partners in logistics or transportation.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and effective communication with partners at various levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance metrics and use data-driven insights for strategic decisions.
  • Experience implementing performance improvement initiatives with partners.
  • Familiarity with logistics technology platforms and data analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to transportation and logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage challenging situations diplomatically.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience with Tableau and advanced data analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of market trends in logistics and transportation, particularly in the box truck or final mile delivery space.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new carrier partners to expand the box truck network nationally.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with carriers to ensure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
  • Track and analyze carrier performance metrics to ensure high-quality service.
  • Implement improvement plans for underperforming carriers and recognize top performers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for carrier partners, managing day-to-day communication and addressing any issues or inquiries.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with carrier partners to ensure mutual success and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast delivery demand and plan carrier capacity requirements.
  • Develop strategies to enhance the reliability and scalability of the box truck network.
  • Continuously seek ways to optimize operational processes, reduce costs, and improve delivery efficiency.
  • Ensure that all carrier partners meet regulatory and safety standards, as well as company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to carrier partnerships.
  • Work closely with the Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to align carrier capabilities with business needs.
