We are seeking a Carpet Cleaning Technician (Night Shift) to help us provide a clean and safe work environment for APL. You’ll be joining a hardworking team of housekeepers who collaborate with our partners and provide an outstanding cleaning service with attention to details. As a Carpet Cleaning Technician you will...
Perform carpet cleaning and floor care tasks in a commercial setting
Use appropriate truck mount equipment and cleaning solutions to effectively clean carpets
Follow established procedures and safety guidelines for carpet cleaning and floor care
Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and identify any carpet maintenance or repair needs
Respond to partner requests and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
You will maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage of products
You will need to adhere to health and safety policies and lab's related practices
You may use APL vehicles in the course of daily operations.

Requirements

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent training and experience.
• Have a minimum of 2 years carpet cleaning experience; additional training will be provided.
• Are physically able to push a vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds.
• Are able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Are organized and able to build an independent cleaning schedule.
• Are able to follow verbal and written directions in English.
• Have customer service experience.
• Have reliable transportation
• Ability to work Night Shift (8:00 PM - 4:30 AM) Sunday through Thursday and/or a flexible schedule
• Requires valid state-of-residence driver’s license in good standing.
• Hold US Citizenship or permanent resident status, as required to access APL’s facilities and networks, subject to applicable laws.
