Plans, coordinates, and supervises the maintenance activities of assigned skilled trades personnel and contractors. Directs the assignments of Trades Helpers, level I, level II and level III maintenance trades employees in the appropriate class series; provides technical advice and production assistance when necessary and inspects all major projects. Develops and refines the work routine of assigned personnel and carries assignments through to completion; does related work as required or assigned. Assignment is carpentry, plastering, and window shade related skilled trades maintenance work. Work is performed under direction of the Senior Coordinator Facility Management and Capital Projects. Incumbents are responsible for the efficient, timely, and economical accomplishment of work assigned to level I, level II maintenance personnel, and Trades Helper classifications and contractors.
