The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in carpentry work, a solid understanding of construction principles, proficiency in using a variety of power tools, and experience in concrete carpentry. This position involves working on various projects, from construction and renovation to custom woodwork and concrete formwork.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Experience in concrete carpentry, including formwork and finishing.
Proficient in using power tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and nail guns.
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques, methods of installation and construction, and basic math.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Strong physical condition and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Certification in carpentry or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials.
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, frames, flooring, and trim.
Construct, repair, and install building frameworks and structures, including walls, stairways, partitions, and rafters.
Build and set forms for pouring concrete, ensuring precise alignment and stability.
Work with concrete to create foundations, slabs, columns, and other structures.
Utilize a wide range of power tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and nail guns, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
Collaborate with other construction professionals, including electricians, plumbers, and general contractors.
Follow building plans and instructions from supervisors.
Ensure projects are completed accurately, safely, and within designated timelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise during the construction process.
Provide guidance and support to junior carpenters and apprentices.
