About The Position

Carpenter in Murrells Inlet, SC Position: Carpenter Location: Murrells Inlet, SC Pay: $17 to $25 (Depends on Experience) Start Date: Immediate Times: 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday - Thursday and 7:00am - 11:00am on Friday 40 hour a week minimum with 5 hours of overtime offered Needs to be knowledgeable of construction processes and techniques from rough framing to trim-out. Proficient in using a variety of tools and equipment and strong communication and teamwork skills Text " CARPENTER " TO 843-360-4334 This job is assisting with commercial building construction around Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand. Responsibilities: Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications. Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim. Work from blueprints, drawings, and sketches to ensure projects are completed accurately. Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete tasks. Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Perform maintenance on existing structures as needed. Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
• Solid understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• High attention to detail with a strong work ethic.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Drug Test, Background Check & MVR Required
