About The Position

John Mini is seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our Fabrication team in the fabrication and installation of indoor and outdoor projects. As a Carpenter at John Mini, you will help build and install custom projects with a focus on fine carpentry, set construction, and field installation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex build conditions and working hands-on with a collaborative fabrication team.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of carpentry or wood fabrication experience
• Experience with fine carpentry and custom fabrication
• Ability to read and comprehend architectural and millwork drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform fine carpentry for custom indoor and outdoor projects
• Build components for set design and specialty installations
• Assist with custom wood fabrication and assembly
• Support indoor and outdoor project installation
• Read and work from architectural and fabrication drawings
• Solve complex project conditions in the shop and in the field
• Work closely with the fabrication team to meet deadlines
• Help other departments when project needs require it
