About The Position

Carpenters at EBCO General Contractor have strong technical skills and an aptitude for quality workmanship. While rough carpentry is the main focus of this role, our carpenters are also an integral part of the punch team to ensure the successful completion and turnover of our projects. This position is based in Arizona. Erects wood framing of commercial buildings including stud placement, floor joists, and rafters, as well as hand rails and ramps for use during the construction phase. Reads and interprets blueprints and technical drawings to determine dimensions and layout. Accurately measures and cuts materials using hand and power tools as appropriate. Maintains a clean jobsite, following all EBCO safety precautions and regulations. Supports the Superintendent onsite with additional activities as needed.

Requirements

• Has a minimum of 2 years of carpentry experience.
• Proficiency with tools - nail guns, saws, levels, tape measures, etc.
• Has the ability to lift heavy materials, climb, work safety at heights and outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Can accurately and quickly calculate measurements and angles.
• Is a strong problem-solver; draws on past experience, ingenuity and analytical skills.
