About The Position
Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Carpenter to join our Tenant Service Team with strong carpenter skillsets and abilities to support the maintenance requests at the Experimental Station in Wilmington, DE for the DuPont FS&RE Function. The Carpenter will report to the Supervisor and will be responsible for reading and interpreting instructions and documentation to plan work activities. The role requires knowledge of residential and commercial construction along with remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, and cost control. The Carpenter will be proficient in tasks such as stain-grade trim work, hanging doors, drilling and setting door hardware, setting windows, and layout for stairs and common rafters. The ability to read blueprints and perform material estimates is essential. The Carpenter will also be responsible for moving materials and equipment to work locations and setting up the work site, building and erecting a broad range of structures in support of construction and maintenance activities.
