About The Position

Diverse Building Solutions is a rapidly growing construction company located in Wilmington, Ohio, operating primarily in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. We are looking for a Carpenter to join our team, where you will work on a wide range of projects under the direction of your crew lead. Your tasks will include wood and steel stud framing, wall coverings, trim, flooring, and insulation. • OSHA 10 certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and complete work in a timely fashion.
• Safely operate all tools, including joiners, shapers, band saws, skill saws, routers, planers, table saws, nail guns, and drills.
• Build walls, partitions, stairs, ramps, landings, decks, cabinets, shelves, etc.
• Layout, cut, drill, miter, sand and otherwise prepare materials for fabrication of various end products.
• Install, apply, maintain, or repair shock-absorbing, light reflective, sound-deadening, and decorative coverings to ceilings, walls, and floors.
• Hang and trim windows, doors, cabinets.
• Mark cutting and assembly lines on materials.
• Assemble cut and shaped materials and fasten them together with nails, dowel pins, or glue.
• Erect framework for structures and lay subflooring.
• Build stairs and install partitions and cabinet work.
• Fit and install prefabricated window frames, doors, door frames, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware.
• Construct forms and chutes for pouring concrete.
• Maintain a clean work area free of hazards.
• Report problem areas and safety hazards.
• Perform other related jobs and duties as assigned.
