About the position
Diverse Building Solutions is a rapidly growing construction company located in Wilmington, Ohio, operating primarily in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. We are looking for a Carpenter to join our team, where you will work on a wide range of projects under the direction of your crew lead. Your tasks will include wood and steel stud framing, wall coverings, trim, flooring, and insulation. Responsibilities
- Identify and complete work in a timely fashion.
- Safely operate all tools, including joiners, shapers, band saws, skill saws, routers, planers, table saws, nail guns, and drills.
- Build walls, partitions, stairs, ramps, landings, decks, cabinets, shelves, etc.
- Layout, cut, drill, miter, sand and otherwise prepare materials for fabrication of various end products.
- Install, apply, maintain, or repair shock-absorbing, light reflective, sound-deadening, and decorative coverings to ceilings, walls, and floors.
- Hang and trim windows, doors, cabinets.
- Mark cutting and assembly lines on materials.
- Assemble cut and shaped materials and fasten them together with nails, dowel pins, or glue.
- Erect framework for structures and lay subflooring.
- Build stairs and install partitions and cabinet work.
- Fit and install prefabricated window frames, doors, door frames, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware.
- Construct forms and chutes for pouring concrete.
- Maintain a clean work area free of hazards.
- Report problem areas and safety hazards.
- Perform other related jobs and duties as assigned.

- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel regularly, and climb stairs and ladders to complete tasks.
- OSHA 10 certification is preferred.
