The Carpenter, Maintenance performs the carpentry duties necessary to maintain in good repair building woodwork and equipment such as bins, cribs, counters, benches, partitions, doors. Work involves most of the following: Examines blueprints and determines dimensions of structure. Layout and construct light gauge metal framing. Hang, tape, finish and sand new drywall. Layout and install acoustical ceiling grid. Install acoustical ceiling tile. Install ceramic tile. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED equivalent is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years directly related experience is required.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
  • Must demonstrate basic computer knowledge (I.e., ability to use email, internet, Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel).
