About The Position

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking Heavy Civil Road Carpenters and structural form builders for a project in Laredo, TX. The role involves constructing, erecting, installing, fabricating, dismantling, and repairing structures, formwork, and fixtures using wood, metal forms, and associated accessories.

Requirements

• 1 to 4 years of experience in carpentry or related field.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Safe use of hand and power tools.
• Must work well as part of a team.
• Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol abuse policy.
• Must be able to pass a physical examination.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with patent form systems.
• Knowledge of safety equipment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, install, fabricate, dismantle, and repair structures and fixtures of wood and metal forms.
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Select type and size of materials according to job specifications.
• Prepare layouts including lines and grade.
• Construct forms and chutes for pouring concrete.
• Assemble cut and shaped materials and fasten them together.
• Place and finish concrete in formwork and set and align form panels.
