About The Position
The Carpenter position involves constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard, in compliance with local building codes. The role requires a variety of tasks including studying blueprints, selecting materials, preparing layouts, shaping materials, assembling structures, and ensuring the accuracy of the work. The Carpenter will also be responsible for building stairs, installing partitions, and applying decorative paneling, among other duties. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities and may include additional tasks pertinent to the department's success.
