About The Position

A cleanroom carpenter constructs, installs, and maintains specialized cleanroom environments, including walls, ceilings, and floors, while adhering to strict contamination control standards. This role requires a strong carpentry background, the ability to read blueprints, and the skill to use tools for tasks such as framing, drywall, and installing specialized components, such as silicone or modular panel systems, grid ceilings, coring, and raised metal flooring. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean worksite, following safety protocols, and performing repairs and routine maintenance.

Requirements

A strong background in construction and finish carpentry, with prior cleanroom experience being a significant advantage.
A commitment to following all safety protocols and regulations and maintaining a drug and alcohol free workplace.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, understanding construction specifications, and performing various carpentry tasks.
A high level of precision and attention to detail is critical for maintaining cleanroom integrity.
The ability to lift and carry heavy materials and perform physical tasks like bending and stretching.
Willingness to work overtime and adapt to different site needs.
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must successfully complete background check and drug/alcohol testing
Must have personal hand tools
May be required to take specialty training
