About The Position

JobSquad, formerly Advance Employment, is hiring full time Carpenter / Framer to perform consistent, steady work on a variety of residential projects throughout mid-Michigan. Candidate would be driving to foreman's location in Gregory, MI and riding with the crew to the job site each day.

Requirements

• 2 years minimum carpentry experience required
• Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to do basic math and read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Shaping, cutting, and fitting materials to specified measurements using hand or power tools.
• Wood framing
• Metal Framing
• Demolition and/or cleanup
• Drywall hanging
