This job involves various duties related to the development of skills in communication and knowledge of architectural applications. The role requires learning and understanding methods and techniques for storing equipment, materials, and supplies, as well as principles and procedures of record keeping. The individual will need to develop knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted during work is essential. The position also involves measuring and marking cutting lines on materials using tools such as rulers, pencils, chalk, and gauges. Additionally, the role requires operating company vehicles, forklifts, and aerial lifts, securing and maintaining basic tools, and performing all tasks to standard while following established safety rules and regulations. Maintaining an alcohol and drug-free work environment and reporting all injuries to safety personnel and the foreman immediately are also critical responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
