About The Position

The position provides skilled general carpentry, cabinet-making, painting, and wall covering services. The role requires a strong knowledge of construction and carpentry techniques, as well as the ability to work with various tools and materials to complete projects accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a vocational-technical school or completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of carpentry work experience required.
• Strong knowledge of construction, framing/finishing, or general carpentry required.
• Ability to use woodworking power tools and hand tools.
• Numerical ability for calculating quantities of materials and measuring.
• Spatial ability to understand forms and relationships from blueprints.
• Motor coordination for using hand and power tools.
• Manual dexterity for skillful hand and arm movements.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of color theory and proficiency with painting tools and techniques.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical stamina to work at heights.
• Understanding of surface preparations.
• Ability to manage time effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
