About The Position

Carpenter 2 will perform intermediate-level carpentry duties, including the construction, repair, and maintenance of hospital buildings, such as patient care areas, administrative offices, and common areas. This position requires a solid understanding of carpentry techniques and the ability to work independently on various projects.

Requirements

• 4 years carpentry experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• OSHA 10: Basic Safety

Responsibilities

• Installing and repairing wood, metal, and other materials
• Performing intermediate carpentry tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, cabinetry, and furniture repairs
• Maintaining tools and equipment in a safe and operational condition
• Working with experienced carpenters and supervisors to learn more advanced carpentry techniques
• Removing and install partitions, doors, and windows
• Adhering to safety protocols and infection control practices in patient areas
• Ensuring work is performed according to hospital standards, codes, and regulations
• Assisting in maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used
