Position Summary
Construct, erect and repair buildings and other structures made of wood, steel and other materials. Build concrete forms, scaffolding, bridges, trestles, tunnels, shelters, towers and other structures.

Requirements

• 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience
• Physical Requirements: Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Grasping, Feeling, Repetitive Motions

Responsibilities

• Must have knowledge and ability to build forms and set forms
• Read blueprints; advanced layout; use of Simon forms; layout of anchor bolts
• Ability to use level (instrument); ability to use transit; ability to tie rebar
• Finish carpentry work; able to read tape/ruler; set screeds; material takeoff from drawings
• Install batter boards; safety requirements for building work; and operation of pneumatic and electric power tools
