About The Position

Carotek, a manufacturer's representative partner of Endress+Hauser, is seeking an energetic and self-driven Account Manager to join their established team in the Atlanta, GA area. This full-time position is pivotal in executing the sales strategy and initiating contact with both existing and potential customers within the Atlanta territory and surrounding areas. The primary focus will be on the sale of Carotek's Instrumentation and Valve Products, as well as steam specialties. Candidates must reside in Atlanta, GA, to effectively serve the local market. In this role, the Account Manager will engage with end-users, including engineers, technicians, and supervisory personnel across Industrial, Commercial, and Municipal accounts. The position requires providing process solutions and application advice on Carotek's products. Additionally, the Account Manager will collaborate with architectural and engineering firms that service the end-user customer base, conducting informational training sessions on product applications. Building effective relationships with customers is crucial for gaining their trust and confidence in applying Carotek's products. The Account Manager will be responsible for growing the territory by increasing penetration of existing accounts and developing new accounts. This includes reviewing specifications, application requirements, and other documents while working closely with Inside Sales to prepare quotations. The role also involves advising Inside Sales personnel on margins to utilize for specific accounts or projects. The Account Manager will develop and deliver sales presentations, close sales professionally, and provide technical support to customers regarding the proper use, operation, and maintenance of equipment. Participation in local job-related professional organizations such as ISA, WEF, ASHRAE, and ASPE is expected, along with monitoring, analyzing, and communicating monthly sales data to contribute to product and service planning. The role also includes maintaining a CRM database, strong principal relationships, and attending factory training sessions and trade shows for the products represented. Staying informed about competitive activity, industry trends, new products, and other relevant information is essential for success in this position.
