The Carnivore Keeper position at Central Florida Zoo is a full-time role that reports directly to the Senior Carnivore Keeper. In the absence of the Senior Keeper, the position will report to the Curator and/or Director of Animal Operations. The role involves providing husbandry and maintenance protocols for various carnivore species, including Amur Leopard, Fossa, African Crested Porcupine, Cougar, Cheetah, and Black Bear. The position requires a minimum of one year's experience with carnivores and emphasizes safety, animal welfare, and public engagement.
