About The Position

Global Elite Group is seeking Cargo Security Officers to join our team at MIA International Airport in Miami, FL. Our unarmed security officers play a crucial role in homeland security, safeguarding infrastructure, and ensuring seamless and secure operations in some of the largest and busiest airports in the country. This position involves working in conjunction with airport and government agencies to maintain compliance with local and federal regulations. Officers will be trained for various posts, including entrance guard and fixed post positions, with a focus on ensuring that only authorized personnel enter the facility and that proper security procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid State Security License.
• Must provide proof of legal right to work in the United States upon hire.
• Ability to effectively speak, write, and understand the English language.
• Must pass all initial and recurrent training classes and exams as administered by Global Security and Airport Authority.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.
• Must obtain Airport Badging and pass an extensive background check including criminal, employment, credit, education, and personal references.
• Must pass a Security Threat Assessment as administered by the Transportation Security Administration.

Responsibilities

• Assure that only authorized personnel enter the facility and manage visitor logs.
• Perform proper physical property searches.
• Ensure proper escort procedures are followed.
• Provide line of sight security throughout the red line demarcation area.
• Ensure positive control of dock entrance.
