About The Position

The Cargo Escort Manager plays a critical leadership role within FRPS’s High-Value Cargo Escort Operations. This position directly supervises Security Operations Center (SOC) personnel while also serving as a primary point of contact for clients. The manager is heavily involved in real-time operations, including escort coordination, scheduling, booking flights and rental vehicles, and ensuring seamless execution of nationwide escort missions. This is a hands-on management role requiring strong operational judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Strong leadership and supervisory experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced operational environment.
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Experience in logistics, security operations, dispatch, SOC operations, or transportation coordination strongly preferred.
Comfortable working with GPS platforms, scheduling tools, email, and communication systems.
Reliable, professional, and capable of handling sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

Supervise and oversee SOC staff supporting active cargo escort operations.
Serve as a first-line point of contact for clients, providing professional, timely communication and operational updates.
Coordinate and manage nationwide cargo escort operations involving high-value and sensitive freight.
Oversee scheduling of escort teams, ensuring coverage while minimizing overtime and operational inefficiencies.
Handle heavy booking responsibilities, including: Airline travel Rental vehicles Hotels (as needed)
Monitor live GPS tracking and operational communications for active loads.
Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and alignment between client instructions and field activity.
Resolve operational issues in real time and escalate when necessary.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and strict attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
