About The Position

The Cargo Escort Manager plays a critical leadership role within FRPS’s High-Value Cargo Escort Operations. This position directly supervises Security Operations Center (SOC) personnel while also serving as a primary point of contact for clients. The manager is heavily involved in real-time operations, including escort coordination, scheduling, booking flights and rental vehicles, and ensuring seamless execution of nationwide escort missions. This is a hands-on management role requiring strong operational judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in logistics, security operations, dispatch, SOC operations, or transportation coordination strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable working with GPS platforms, scheduling tools, email, and communication systems.
  • Reliable, professional, and capable of handling sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee SOC staff supporting active cargo escort operations.
  • Serve as a first-line point of contact for clients, providing professional, timely communication and operational updates.
  • Coordinate and manage nationwide cargo escort operations involving high-value and sensitive freight.
  • Oversee scheduling of escort teams, ensuring coverage while minimizing overtime and operational inefficiencies.
  • Handle heavy booking responsibilities, including: Airline travel Rental vehicles Hotels (as needed)
  • Monitor live GPS tracking and operational communications for active loads.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and alignment between client instructions and field activity.
  • Resolve operational issues in real time and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and strict attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
