About The Position

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to proficiently speak, read and write in English
• Must be able to take all pre-employment background and drug tests
• Must be able and flexible to work full-time, overtime (if needed), weekends and/or holidays
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required City of Houston and Customs Border Patrol badge/seal

Responsibilities

• Answer Airline's telephone and take appropriate action when necessary and/or required.
• Service customers at the counter, ensuring complete and accurate shipping documents.
• Collect, record, and properly process all monies from customers.
• Notify customers via telephone and written notification of the arrival of shipments.
• Inform shippers of the cost of freight and storage charges, if applicable.
• Complete airway bills, perform required data entry, and update computer records.
• Review paperwork and information to ensure accuracy and completion.
