Cargo Agent - Honolulu - Full-Time

About the position

Start your aviation career with Hawaiian Airlines at the Honolulu airport! As a cargo agent with our Honolulu 'ohana, you will earn $15.92 per hour with pay increases (in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement) and learn new skills when you attend our PAID training courses. Our Cargo Agents provide our customers with personalized service and solutions to meet their shipping needs. Our best Cargo Agents communicate clearly and can switch from an office environment to a warehouse environment with ease.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized service and solutions to meet customers' shipping needs.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Switch between office and warehouse environments as needed.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum age 18 possessing at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license issued in the United States.
• Must be flexible in work assignment areas and hours.
• Good customer relation skills.
• Meet physical requirements of the position including lifting up to 70 lbs. unassisted.
• Able to operate a computer; requires 25 wpm keyboarding skills.
• Able to obtain Forklift certification.
• Complete pre-employment drug test and random drug testing.
• Fulfill comprehensive background checks and fingerprinting.

• HAZMAT MATERIAL TRAINING PREREQUISTE.
