About The Position

The Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution (RFBI) is seeking an experienced aged care carer to join the team at RFBI Benhome Masonic Village. This casual position involves providing essential personal care services to residents, contributing to high-quality aged care that positively impacts lives.

Requirements

• Certificate III in Aged Care
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Previous experience in an aged care environment
• An enthusiastic and motivated approach
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Valid police check clearance
• Current flu and Covid vaccination
• Must be eligible to work in Australia

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
• Providing basic clinical care including wound dressing, assisting with medication delivery, and recording basic clinical observations
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis, and other conditions
• Entering reports and observations into the computer program iCare
• Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care
