CarelonRx Sales Strategy Director Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The CarelonRx Sales Strategy Director is responsible for working for a regional vice president (RVP) and other sales leaders to support key National Account and strategic Local sales pursuits, develop and propose strategy supporting the new sales and business development process for CarelonRx. How you will make an impact: Support sales directors in all phases of the sales process such as pre-bid strategy planning, request for proposal (RFP) response and execution, finalist meeting preparation, customer relationship management (CRM) record maintenance, and post sales support. Work directly with key stakeholders and support the sales process and sales execution for the largest and most sophisticated employer market prospects. Partner with leadership to define our sales strategy for key prospects and business development activities and success criteria for the future. Translate strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects, priorities and timelines and ensure alignment and attainment of both the regions and the enterprises strategic plans to turn strategy into reality. Oversee definition development and implementation of metrics to report and monitor progress against goals and ensure plan of record supports strategy milestone deliverables. Support the development of business plans and formulate strategies for new business growth Monitor and analyze product lines to help determine optimal strategy. Provide research, analysis, and recommendations on the external environment as part of the development of strategic plans for the business unit. Create and present high quality presentations to executive levels. Monitor, measure and communicate delivery against business strategic plan and the quality of outcomes. Collaborate with senior team and staff to develop tactical plans and communication strategies. Serve as a representative on enterprise and inter-regional initiatives. Provide coaching and mentoring to other Sales support team members on strategic thinking and on projects that deliver high return and high strategic value. Light travel may be required.
