About The Position
Visiting Angels is seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate individuals to join their team as CAREgivers. The mission is to help seniors remain safely in their homes while aging with dignity, care, and compassion. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community by building relationships and providing compassionate support to clients. Caregivers will be supported by a dedicated leadership team and have opportunities for career growth, including a 6-week mentoring program for experienced caregivers to guide new team members. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive paid training is provided through the Caregiver Development Program, including hands-on instruction and ongoing monthly education.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license or state ID
- A compassionate, patient, and caring attitude
- A genuine desire to help seniors age safely at home
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, non-medical in-home care
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Support clients with errands, appointments, and medication reminders
- Assist with dementia and Alzheimer’s care
Benefits
- Base Pay: $13.00–$16.00/hour (based on experience)
- $1,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Weekend Differential: +$2/hour
