About The Position
Blacksmith Fork Assisted Living in Hyrum, Utah, is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to join their small, close-knit community. The organization prides itself on a culture built on kindness, teamwork, and genuine care, with full support from Administration, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Activities, and Dietary staff. This allows caregivers to focus on providing excellent care and building meaningful relationships with residents. The role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, delivering compassionate and respectful care, observing and reporting changes to the RCC and nurse, and consistently upholding residents' dignity, comfort, and safety.
Requirements
- A genuine love for the elderly and a compassionate attitude
- Always has a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and excellent bedside manner
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in critical or high-pressure situations
- CPR certification (must be willing to obtain within 14 days if not already certified)
- Food Handler's Permit (must be willing to obtain within 14 days if not already certified)
Nice To Haves
- CNA or Med Tech experience
- CNA certification (can be earned while working here)
