About The Position

ApexCare is seeking dedicated female caregivers who are bilingual in Russian to provide compassionate, one-on-one care to seniors in their homes. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling and a supportive work environment, focusing on personal care and companionship for clients. The role includes various shifts, with an emphasis on weekend availability.

Requirements

• Must have a current driver's license and reliable, insured automobile.
• Ability to pass a background check through DOJ and FBI.
• Effective English communication skills; bilingual in Russian is a plus.
• At least one year of professional caregiving experience is preferred.
• Must have a TB test less than a year old or be willing to obtain a new one.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) designation is a plus.
• Experience in Alzheimer's and dementia care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including toileting, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation for clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
• Prepare meals and assist clients with eating.
• Offer transportation assistance for errands and appointments.
• Provide companionship and maintain communication with family and office.
