There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
We have an immediate case that will require caregivers 24 hours a day for a male client living in a single-family home on Mercer Island with his wife. The shifts will be filled for day shifts from 8 am to 8 pm and overnight shifts from 8 pm to 8 am, every day of the week. The pay will range from $20.00 per hour, with a possibility of a pay increase to $24.00 if nurse delegation is required. Other caregiving shifts are also available during the week, both longer and shorter, with pay ranging from $20 to $27 per hour. The client is in his 90s, has recently shown to be a fall risk, and suffers from dementia. Care will focus primarily on safety, assistance with personal care, assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) like dressing, some light assistance around the house (laundry), and companionship. His wife, who has been his primary caregiver, will be on-site. The home is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, but the ideal candidate will have a private vehicle or at least be comfortable (and licensed) driving the client's car. ComForCare Home Care was recently certified as a Great Place to Work, based on a nationwide survey of employees! 90% of ComForCare employees rated us as a "Great Place", compared to the industry average of 59%.
