CAREGIVERS needed for 10-12 hour WEEKDAY shifts

About the position

Close to Home Caregivers is seeking caregivers who are available for long daytime shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours on weekdays. There is also a possibility for long weekend shifts if interested. Caregivers will assist clients who may need companionship, help with mobility, and support with basic activities of daily living. Most clients are located in the greater Sarasota-Bradenton area, with some living at home and others in assisted living facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients
• Assist clients with mobility
• Support clients with basic activities of daily living

Requirements

• Sincere interest in caring for elderly people
• Level II background clearance
• Valid driver’s license
• Access to a car for transportation to shifts
• No felonies on record

Benefits

• Starting wage of $17/hour, with potential increases based on client or length of employment
