FILRO Caregivers is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers for Seniors on an hourly 'come and go' or Live-in basis to join our team. Requirements
- Prior experience minimum 6 months as a caregiver.
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors.
- Compassionate and patient.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Valid driver's license or state ID
- Proof of work eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, twist, push and pull.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Observation of client functioning and reporting changes to a Supervisor or to a person designated by the Client, including changes in functional ability and mental status demonstrated by the Client.
- Assistance with household chores, including but not limited to, menu planning, meal preparation, cooking, light housekeeping, changing linens, and laundry.
- Assistance with shopping, escorting to and from appointments and other engagements outside of the home.
- Companionship.
- Completion of caregiver time sheets via our FILRO Caretime app documenting each of the services provided at each visit.
- Provide emotional support and encourage independence.
