COMPANIONS & HOMEMAKERS is immediately hiring PCA's, HHA's, and CNA's across the state of Connecticut. In this role, you will have the ultimate responsibility to help implement customized care plans that encompass solutions to nurture the whole person in mind, body, and spirit. You will treat your clients like family, going above and beyond to enhance their quality of life. Your essential functions will include delivering exceptional care to dedicated clients in their homes, executing comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans, and completing daily tasks in a safe and professional manner. You will supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client by providing ongoing social and emotional support, and assist with personal care activities such as personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding, and meal preparation. Keeping order, safety, and client enjoyment top of mind at all times is crucial, as is providing transportation to and from appointments as needed. You will also be responsible for administrative functions such as documenting the completion of tasks and reporting changes in the client's physical condition, mental capability, or behavior. C&H matches you with clients that fit your requirements, availability, and skill levels, and offers training for those just starting out or looking to learn new caregiving skills. We offer our caregivers weekly paychecks that reward experience and flexibility, a guaranteed minimum of 3-4 hours per client visit, and higher pay rates for experienced caregivers looking for long-term assignments. Opportunities to work close to your own home and make your own schedule are available, allowing you to choose between full-time, part-time, or per diem assignments to maintain a work-life/family-life balance. Additionally, you will receive a $200 sign-on bonus (ask for details) and can start working in a matter of days!
