About The Position

The Caregiver at Wesley House Assisted Living is responsible for providing essential support to residents, ensuring their daily living activities are met with compassion and care. This role emphasizes the importance of promoting resident independence and participating in community activities, while also offering training and mentorship to new team members. No prior experience is required as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality resident care as indicated on the care plan
• Promote resident independence
• Participate in new team member orientation and training and act as a mentor and a resource for team members
• Provide assistance with housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication administration depending on state regulations
• Participate with communities' Life Enrichment Activities, events, and outings while encouraging residents to attend
• Additional duties as assigned
