About The Position

The Care Manager at Sunrise Senior Living is responsible for providing high-quality care and services to residents in assisted living and reminiscence neighborhoods. This role emphasizes building meaningful relationships with residents and their families, ensuring their individual care needs are met, and enhancing their daily lives through various activities. The position requires a commitment to safety, compliance with regulations, and a passion for serving seniors.

Requirements

  • Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude and flexibility to perform various duties in service to residents.
  • High School diploma/GED accepted and may be required per state regulations.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to make choices and decisions in the resident's best interest.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful relationships with seniors and their families while assisting with activities of daily living.
  • Notify management of changes in residents' conditions and recommend adjustments in care.
  • Assist residents in life skills and life-enriching activities as indicated on their profiles.
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and monthly updates.
  • Monitor and check on designated residents throughout the shift.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promote Risk Management programs.
  • Respond to dining needs of residents and guests while maintaining service standards.
  • Encourage and assist residents in life skills and activities as indicated on ISP.
