About The Position

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Caregiver to provide in-home care for a client in Milwaukee. This position requires hands-on personal care experience and the ability to follow a structured care plan while maintaining the client’s safety, dignity, and comfort.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience required
• Experience with Hoyer lift transfers
• Ability to provide incontinence care
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insured automobile
• Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
• Able to follow a care plan and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing and showering
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with dressing and personal grooming
• Provide incontinence care
• Safely operate and assist with Hoyer lift transfers
• Prepare simple meals
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Assist with grocery shopping
• Help maintain a safe home environment
• Schedule appointments with physicians and laboratories
