About The Position

Empathyhands Homecare is seeking an experienced caregiver (CNA or HHA preferred) to provide in-home care services for a client in Palmdale. This position requires hands-on assistance with mobility and personal care.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver with experience in dementia care to provide essential support to a client in his own home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in caregiving, particularly in home care settings, geriatrics, and ADL care. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our client, allowing him to maintain his independence while receiving the care they needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care required
• Experience with safe transfers and mobility assistance
• Ability to lift and assist using proper transfer techniques
• Reliable, professional, and compassionate
• Ability to work consistent evening shifts

Nice To Haves

• CNA or HHA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Transfers from wheelchair to bed using proper body mechanics
• Shower and personal hygiene care
• Meal prep assistance
• Companionship and supervision
• Ensuring client safety at all times
