Make a real difference by supporting individuals with disabilities Position: Caregiver - 1687R Starting Wage: $23.00/hour Schedule: Friday 2:30pm -6:30pm & Sunday 9:30am-5:00pm or 6:00pm Saturday 9:00am -2:30pm (optional) Location: Beaverton, OR Experience: High Behavior 🌻 Client Bio: I love music and enjoy songs, nursery rhymes, and anything musical. I am happiest when I am outdoors enjoying nature, and I also like activities that let me move and create, such as climbing, coloring, and finger painting. I enjoy sensory and hands-on experiences and often seek comfort and connection through closeness. I do best with a caregiver who is patient, attentive, and able to stay calm and supportive when I become frustrated. I can have difficulty following directions and may struggle when boundaries are set or when people get too close. My caregiver helps me recognize my emotions by encouraging safe ways to express frustration, such as squeezing hands together, and by providing gentle guidance and reassurance. I benefit from consistent supervision and support with safety awareness, including elopement prevention. I am affectionate and enjoy appropriate physical comfort such as hugs and playful interaction, and I thrive with a caregiver who can balance warmth, structure, and clear expectations to help me feel safe and supported. 🌻 Why Join Us?
