Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs, bend, kneel, and stay active during shifts
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
- Reliable transportation and mobile phone
- Dependable, professional, and punctual
- Must pass a background check
- TB test required (can be completed after interview)
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Support clients with dementia and Alzheimer’s care
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene)
- Perform safe transfers (gait belts, Hoyer lifts – training provided)
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, and outings
- Maintain client safety, dignity, and comfort at all times
