About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable male caregiver to support a male client with complex behavioral and mental health needs. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, understanding, and experienced in providing structured support in a home-based setting. Client Diagnoses Include: Autism Spectrum Disorder Unspecified Psychotic Disorder ADHD, Combined Type Schizophrenia Panic Disorder Schizotypal Personality Disorder Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Requirements

• Live Scan
• CPR
• FIRST AID
• NEG TB TEST WITHIN LAST TWO YEAR

Nice To Haves

• Experience with behavioral intervention or mental health support
• Male caregiver required for client comfort and safety
• Previous experience with autism, mental health, or behavioral support preferred
• Strong patience, empathy, and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
• Dependable and professional

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care and supervision
• Assist with daily routines and structure
• Support emotional regulation and coping strategies
• De-escalate anxiety or behavioral episodes using approved techniques
• Encourage independence while ensuring safety
• Maintain a calm, respectful, and supportive environment
• Follow individualized care plans and agency policies
• Communicate effectively with the office and care team
