About The Position

Visiting Angels is currently hiring compassionate, dependable Weekend Caregivers to join our growing team serving the Tri-Cities and Walla Walla communities.
If you are a Home Care Aide (HCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) looking for flexible weekend shifts and meaningful work, we would love to meet you!
Position Summary
As a Home Care Aide, you will provide essential in-home support to seniors and individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. Your care helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Requirements

• Active HCA or CNA certification (Washington State)
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
• Ability to pass extensive background checks
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide light housekeeping and laundry
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands (as needed)
• Offer medication reminders (no medication administration)
• Monitor and report changes in client condition
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Communicate effectively with physicians, office staff, and fellow caregivers
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality
• Follow all professional standards of conduct and care plans
• must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
