Starting Wage: $23.00/Hour Schedule: Hours will fluctuate; open availability is needed. Starting part-time, with room to grow 🌱 Location: Lowell, Or. Experience: Highly Experienced ONLY CANDIDATES IN Lowell, Dexter, or Fall Creek will be considered. 🌻 Client Bio: We are two brothers looking for a caring, dependable DSP who is patient, kind, and enjoys working with kids. Our ideal caregiver lives near Lowell, Fall Creek, or Dexter and can stay calm and consistent while supporting either a busy toddler or a spirited teenager at different times (you will never be scheduled with both at the same time). One of us is a teenager learning to manage big emotions and can sometimes get frustrated or upset, while the other is an energetic little one who loves to explore and needs close supervision, support with safety, and guidance with behaviors like elopement, expressing needs, and occasional outbursts. We’re looking for someone strong, confident, and consistent - someone who communicates well with Mom, keeps us safe, and can stay grounded while navigating challenging moments. Requirements

  • 18 years or older with 1 or more years of care experience
  • CPR and First Aid certified or willing to get certified
  • Own a smartphone
  • Legal U.S. work authorization and background check
  • Driver’s license and insurance for some roles
  • Must own a car to travel for this client to meet them at different locations for the shift

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Daily Living - From helping with meals, bathing, or getting ready for the day, you’ll provide care that helps members feel confident and comfortable.
  • Encouraging Independence - Join members on walks, shopping trips, or community outings, helping them connect with the world around them.
  • Building Life Skills - Teach and model everyday skills like cooking, managing money, and understanding social cues - empowering members to grow and thrive.
  • Keeping Things on Track - Follow care plans, offer medication reminders, and document progress so our team can celebrate every milestone together.
