About The Position

Open Arms Solutions is seeking compassionate, dependable Male Caregivers to provide one-on-one support for male clients in the Chicago area. This role is specifically for male applicants due to the personal nature of the care required (bathing, grooming, and hygiene assistance), honoring the client’s request for a same-gender provider (BFOQ). The caregiver will help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while building a rewarding career with a supportive local team.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience within the last 2 years (In-home, facility, or hospital).
• A valid State ID or Driver’s License.
• Must have a smartphone for communication and care logs.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• A compassionate attitude, extreme reliability, and a heart for helping seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Offering engaging conversation and emotional support.
• Helping with light housekeeping, laundry, and simple meal preparation.
• Providing medication reminders and driving clients to appointments or errands.
• Recording care notes and updates through our mobile system.
