About The Position
Clear Path Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide quality care to clients in the Gorman, Texas area. This is an hourly position in the home care field, where the caregiver will work directly with clients in their homes. The current shifts that need to be filled are Monday through Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM and 8 PM to 8 AM.
Requirements
- 1 year previous caregiving experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and record changes in client's health and report any concerns to management
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc
- Escort clients to appointments, errands, and recreational activities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure quality care is being provided
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
