About The Position
At Visiting Angels, the mission is to help seniors remain safely in their homes while aging with dignity, care, and compassion. The company is currently seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate individuals to join their team as CAREgivers. This role offers the opportunity to build relationships and provide compassion, making a lasting difference in clients' lives, while being supported by a dedicated leadership team and gaining valuable experience for career growth. Experienced caregivers have the opportunity to participate in a 6-week mentoring program, supporting and guiding new team members as role models.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license or state ID
- A compassionate, patient, and caring attitude
- A genuine desire to help seniors age safely at home
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, non-medical in-home care
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Support clients with errands, appointments, and medication reminders
- Assist with dementia and Alzheimer’s care
Benefits
- Base Pay: $13.00–$16.00/hour (based on experience)
- $1,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Weekend Differential: +$2/hour
- Performance Bonuses: Monthly, Quarterly & Annual
